Hiya! I'm a lady living and loving in Seattle, WA with my husband, two cats, and our beagle. This blog is my creative outlet where I share a bit about my style, inspirations, travel adventures, and my journey into holistic living. In 2012 I became a certified yoga instructor, and yoga is a huge part of my life. Naturally, my practice inspires a lot of what I post.
Other assorted loves > chai tea lattes, thrift stores, embroidery, elephants, improv comedy, neapolitan pizza, lakes, chamomile tea, peonies, electronic music, crocheted things, vintage housewares, the Buddha, vintage photography, fancy cocktails, and airstream trailers.
I created this blog to connect with people near and far, as my life has been on the move the last few years and will continue to do so. This is a place where I am carving out a bit of a "movable" home, so that I can have my roots planted somewhere more deeply. Nice to meet you!
A is for > Abhaya
Abhaya is the Sanskrit word for fearlessness. I started this blog originally to share my love of yoga and to show others that yoga isn't just some thing you do to twist into a pretzel, but I soon realized that it wasn't about just doing the poses - it's a lifestyle that can be truly transformative. For me, that translates into feeling healthy, happy, and confident in your own skin.
